A Leap Forward with the Web Client

The aclaros team was excited to participate in the recent SAP Partner Summit for Small & Mid-Sized Enterprises in Phoenix April 10-12, 2024. The buzz at the SAP Phoenix Summit was about the progress of the SAP Business One Web Client. SAP announced that the development is approximately 50% complete. This progress means that half of the functionalities you rely on in the current client will soon be available in the upcoming Feature Pack 2405. The introduction of extensibility to the web client marks a significant breakthrough, allowing us to bring the customizability and enhancements that have made SAP Business One so powerful into the new web environment.

Extending Capabilities

The journey to integrate crucial add-ons and extensions into the web client has reached a pivotal moment. SAP has now minimized the technical barriers that previously limited this capability, setting the stage for a richer, more versatile toolset. This enhancement will allow the SAP Business One community to extend and improve the web client, much like we’ve enhanced the current client over the years.

SAP Business One: A Timeless Promise

Rainer Zinow’s message was crystal clear: “SAP Business One forever.” His presentation underscored a steadfast roadmap well into 2030 and beyond, emphasizing SAP’s commitment to continuous development and support for Business One. This long-term perspective is not only reassuring but also exciting for all of us looking forward to what the future holds.
